Admission partners
What an admission partner is
Some colleges have an admission partnership with Disha Stars. Their verified profiles show a “Disha admission partner” badge, so you always know.

The badge
The “Disha admission partner” badge appears on a college’s profile, card and search row. In search results it reads “Admission partner”. It marks a college that has an admission partnership with Disha Stars. Today 1 of 386 verified profiles carry it:
What partner status does not change
- The facts on a page: fees, courses, approvals and NIRF ranks come from the same sources for every college.
- Which colleges a filter returns, and the sort options (NIRF rank, fees, package, distance and name).
- Course, state and budget listing pages, which are built from the same data for every college.
Where it can affect order
We want to be exact about this. Partner status is used in two places, and the default order has one more effect worth knowing:
- In the short preview lists in the Colleges menu and the home page browse panel, colleges are ordered by NIRF rank, then by listed highest package. Partner status is used only as the last tie-breaker, when two colleges are equal on both.
- Before you choose a sort, results use the default “Recommended” order, which is the order of the Disha Stars directory file the verified profiles come from. That order does not use the partner badge, but an admission partner can appear near the top of it. Choose a sort option to order results by a fact instead.
Counselling
Counselling is free. If you are unsure whether a suggestion suits you, ask your counsellor why, and compare it with other colleges in college search. Questions about partnerships can go to the team through the contact page.
