How this list is built

An institution is listed here when AISHE lists it as a nursing (diploma) institute, or its registered name states nursing. The registers do not list every course, so confirm the exact course with the institution.
A listing in the AISHE directory of the Ministry of Education is not a recognition. Each row names the regulator lists it appears in, so check the approval for your course with that regulator.
Government or private is the management a register states. Where no register states it, the row says so.
Order: verified Disha profiles first, then institutions ranked in NIRF 2025 (best rank in any category), then the rest, those named by more official registers first, then A to Z. This is not a quality ranking.
