DU Semester Exams to Begin from 4 December: Over Six Lakh Students to Appear

Delhi University has announced that UG and PG semester examinations will begin on 4 December with over six lakh students set to appear. Regular college students can submit their online examination forms until 15 November, or up to 22 November with a late fee.
Semester Exams and Tentative Datesheet
Delhi University (DU) has announced that undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) semester examinations will commence on 4 December. More than six lakh students will appear in these examinations. DU has released a tentative datesheet for UG level students. If students report that their examination dates clash with another subject exam, changes will be made to the final datesheet upon their request.

Who Can Appear
The upcoming semester examinations are scheduled for various student categories across different colleges and departments:
- First semester UG students admitted in July, who will sit for exams for the first time
- Students of the third, fifth, and seventh semesters
- Students appearing for improvement exams, Essential Repeaters (ER), and ex-students
- Students from regular colleges, Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB), and School of Open Learning (SOL)
Schedule for SOL Examinations
Along with regular colleges and NCWEB, examinations for School of Open Learning (SOL) students will also begin in December. Examinations for SOL UG and PG courses are expected to continue until February.
