NTA Revised Exam Calendar Out: Check New Dates for JEE Main, UGC NET, CSIR NET

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a revised exam calendar for national-level entrance tests scheduled from December 2026 onwards. Dates have been modified for exams including JEE Main 2027 Session 1, UGC NET December 2026, Joint CSIR UGC NET, and CUET PG 2027.
NTA Revised Exam Calendar Announced
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam schedule for several national-level tests being conducted from December 2026 onwards. Changes have been made to the dates of JEE Main 2027 Session 1, UGC NET December 2026, Joint CSIR UGC NET, and CUET PG 2027. The calendar also includes JEE Main Session 2 scheduled for April 2027. NTA stated that the dates mentioned in the calendar are tentative.
Revised Dates for Major Exams
Under the new schedule, JEE Main Session 1 will be held on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28 January 2027, with the earlier buffer date of 31 January removed. Candidates should track upcoming NTA updates for exam city, admit card, and shift details.

NTA shared the application status for UGC NET December 2026 as recorded up to 25 October 2026, advising candidates with incomplete forms to finish the pending steps, pay the fee, and download the confirmation page through their login.

Other Exams and NEET UG 2027 Update
The revised calendar includes schedules for JEE Main 2027 Session 2 (April 2027), Army Cadets College, SHRESHTA (NETS), and NITTT Part 1 and Part 2. However, the date for NEET UG 2027 has not been announced yet in this revised calendar, and aspirants must wait for a fresh notification.
