About UGC-NET December 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC-NET December 2026 Examination to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programmes in Indian Universities and Colleges.
Revised Fee Payment Schedule
Following an earlier extension up to 31 October 2026 (11:50 PM), NTA has granted an additional day for fee transactions to help candidates who submitted their forms but could not pay the fee in time.

Important Instructions for Candidates
