Noida District Library: Students Can Submit Book Preferences via Google Form by 30 July

Noida District Library will now select and procure books based on student feedback gathered through a Google Form. Readers and registered members can submit their choices by scanning QR codes before the deadline of 30 July.
New System for Book Selection
Previously, books in the library were selected based on general requirements, leading to thousands of books remaining untouched on the shelves. Under the new system, readers' demands will be incorporated so that books students actually want to use will reach the shelves. The government level will select and send books to the library based on the suggestions received.
Information Required in the Google Form
Through the feedback form, students are asked to provide specific details regarding their reading preferences and library usage:
- Whether they are a library member or not
- Whether they visit regularly or occasionally
- Whether they are preparing for any competitive examination
- Which language they prefer to read books in
- What kind of books they would like to obtain from the library
How to Submit Feedback
Library administrators have been instructed to print the QR code of the feedback form and display it on the notice board, reading room, and main counter. All visitors and registered members are urged to scan the QR code and submit the form by 30 July.

A book fair will be held at the District Library on Monday. The fair will inform students about the books available in the library, following the arrival of a large number of new books over the past month.
