· Source: Amar Ujala

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued strict guidelines under the Non-Disclosure Agreement for candidates appearing in FMGE October 2026. Candidates are strictly barred from sharing or publishing exam questions and answers through any verbal, written, or electronic means.

Strict Guidelines Issued by NBEMS

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released strict instructions before the October session of the FMGE exam. The examination board clarified the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) conditions for candidates appearing in FMGE October 2026. NBEMS has instructed candidates not to post or publish any examination content orally, in writing, electronically, or through any other medium. The board reiterated four main rules of the NDA.

Four Key NDA Rules for Candidates

  • Confidentiality of Questions and Answers: FMGE is a proprietary examination conducted exclusively by NBEMS. The examination content is entirely confidential. Candidates cannot share exam questions and answers in any form. Republishing or broadcasting the content is prohibited. NBEMS will not entertain requests to share questions and answers. The answer key will be published strictly according to the provisions in the information bulletin.
  • Ban on Sharing via Social Media and Messaging: Candidates are not allowed to share any exam-related material with friends, acquaintances, or third parties. This ban extends to online and social media platforms including SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, X, Hangouts, and blogs. The rule applies to candidate's own accounts as well as any other or proxy accounts.
  • Prohibition Involving Coaching Institutes and Preparation Services: No test preparation service, coaching institute, or individual is allowed to obtain, use, share, or distribute actual FMGE content from candidates who recently appeared in the test. Candidates are also prohibited from sharing question papers or content with any individual, coaching institute, test preparation service, or online platform.
  • Penal Actions for Violations: Violating any condition of the Non-Disclosure Agreement can lead to punitive action, including the cancellation of the candidate's candidature.

Consequences of Sharing Material with Coaching or Online Forums

If evidence is found that a candidate participated in or utilized any test preparation program, service, or online forum where actual FMGE questions or answers are made available, or if the candidate shared exam content directly or indirectly, strict actions will be taken:

  • The candidate's candidature can be cancelled.
  • Their FMGE appearance and results can be revoked.
  • Additional academic and legal action may also be initiated.
